Note:
The painting was presented to Le Manyong (1902-1974), a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang province. She came from the Beijing Tong Ren Tang (同仁堂), a Chinese pharmaceutical company founded in 1669 by the Le family. Her cousin, Le Songsheng (樂松聲), was the former Beijing deputy mayor. Le was the wife of Yang Gongyi (楊公庶, 1897-1978)
